Midlands World Environment Day Commemorations set for tomorrow

The Midlands province is set to hold its belated World Environment Day commemorations in Kwekwe on the 12th of June in Kwekwe.

This was said by the Environmental Management Agency EMA Midlands provincial education and publicity officer Mr Oswald Ndlovu.

Meanwhile Zimbabwe joined the rest of the world in celebrating the day which is commemo0rated on the 5th of June every year last week.

This year’s commemorations were running under the theme Beat Air Pollution.

Mr Ndlovu urged the Midlands community to desist from starting veld fires and other similar activities which result in air pollution.
