First lady Amai Mnangagwa in Kwekwe to commission refurbished wards

Speaking in Kwekwe recently, first lady Auxilia Mnangagwa said the quality of health care in Zimbabwe is set to improve following government’s injection of close to $700 million into the public health sector.

The first lady is the country’s health ambassador and she was commissioning a new incinerator and wards which were refurbished at Kwekwe General Hospital courtesy of Zimasco and Sable Chemicals.

She said the money committed by the government towards the health delivery system will go a long way towards the health delivery system will go a long way in attaining quality service delivery.

Mrs Mnangagwa said meanwhile it is important for the private sector to partner with the government in its various developmental programmes.
