MDC-A Chibaya, Chiminya remanded in custody

MDC Alliance organising secretary and Member of Parliament for Mkoba Mr Amos Chibaya together with his fellow lawmaker from Chiwundura Mr Livingstone Chiminya appeared in court yesterday, facing charges of incitement to commit a crime and inciting violence respectively.

Mr Chibaya appeared before provincial magistrate Ms Charity Maphosa whilst Mr Chiminya appeared before regional magistrate Mrs Phatekile Msipa.

They were both remanded in custody to the 29th of January in order to allow the police time to locate two missing witnesses.
