ED meets Sierra Leone, Sudanese presidents

Zimbabwe and Sierra Leone would want to reinvigorate the strong relations that existed between them during the struggle for independence.

This was said by the President of Sierra Leone Mr Julius Maada Bio after holding bilateral discussions with President Emmerson Mnangagwa on the sidelines of the African Union Summit in Nouakchott, Mauritania this Monday afternoon.

Sierra Leone helped some Zimbabwean professionals acquire university education before independence.

The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Retired Lieutenant General Dr Sibusiso Moyo and senior government officials.

Soon afterwards the President Mnangagwa met Sudanese President Omar Al Bashir.
